This is what a favicon is. I've added one to my blog. It should be a nice little picture right up there by the address. Can you see it? It works best on Firefox, but it might be available on other web browsers, too.

Am I correct in observing that it's a crock pot? I think that I've missed something...
i can see it but i can't tell what it is. it looks like a scroll. i don't see a crock pot at all!
crock pots can be very tricky things to identify when minuscule, it's true. but trust me, the size of my favicon crock pot is in no way a true representation of my being. but i don't know what that means, so whatever.
