Portuñol

Scottie and I had a forever long conversation tonight where I spoke in Portuguese and he responded in Spanish (and sometimes vice versa).
I love it.
That's all.

ooo, I have a friend here - we do the same thing. Okay, we've done that maybe two times. But still.

One time there was a spur of the moment novella - G rated, of course. Pure awesomeness. My Portuguese understanding skills aren't as honed as his Spanish skills though. sigh.

And I feel like a complete stalker for posting so soon after it appeared on reader. Oh well.

I was thinking about that (kinda) today when JC and I were taking a walk and he was speaking in Spanish and I was responding in English. We do that all the time. I hope our (hypothetical) kids don't get any weird ideas, like women speak English and men speak Spanish or something . . .

Heidi, it was a friendly stalking.

A-L, I think you should name your hypothetical kids Provável and Posible. And if they developed those odd ideas about who speaks what, it'd be awesome.
