Julie Rae sent this to me and I really appreciated the read, so I'm sharing it.
It's especially timely right now in Utah after what's happened this week.

I'd like to send that to a few people with a note, "let's figure out how to disagree politely."
I just don't even know what to say anymore.
Yesterday, the most popular commented on articles were all about immigration. And many of the comments were downright hateful. When it comes to the media, I'm almost more embarrassed to be from Utah right now, than Arizona.
I mean, they won't even go to free BBQs.

And the guv'ner doesn't really seem to think that, other than a breach in the Privacy laws, this doesn't seem to be that big of a deal.
I guess I did have a lot to say.
One last thing: I remember my stake president, who is a surgeon, and was getting frustrated about health care for immigrants was reminded of this scripture - 2Nephi 1:5
I hate scripture bashing, and that is not my intent here, but well, I think you know what I mean.
Now I'm really done. For now.
Kim, I wish you luck.
Heidi, thanks for the BBQ article. That's just insane, and sad. Oh, and you wanna see a funny exchange about privacy laws? Read the end of this piece.
Maybe I should write my governor a message reminding him endangering the safety of 1,300 people is a might more troubling than simply privacy invasion.
And I loved the scripture.
