That's exactly what I did last night when I was reading some Flannery O'Connor (thanks for the Christmas present, Mom). It was in a way unnerving, but good in the same breath. "The Barber"

Oh I love Flannery O'Connor. I know she's a little strange for some people, but I studied her a bit in my senior year of high school (which is when I discovered I liked her) and then again in college (when I discovered I love her). I haven't read anything of hers in a long time...I need to dig her book of short stories out and get reading her again! Thanks for the inspiration.
I will have to check it out.
