I seriously have to con myself into going to bed. I failed Friday to Saturday morning, crashing on the couch and sleeping intermittently. I love the Olympics.
Did you guys see the 33-year-old German gymnast (read the "It takes a village..." section)? And how about Dara Torres, swimming and medaling at age 41?
The thing I love about the Olympics is that more and more stories are going to emerge throughout the games.
And I never cry.

last night jeremy and i found our self's screaming and jumping up and down during the men's 4-100 relay only then to realize it was close to 11 at night and our kids had been in bed for a few hours. i have to say i love the Olympics too I still can't get over the amazing athletes out there. there are a lot of good stories out there and i love how every 4 years people can be experts about swimming, gymnastics, diving and many other medley of sports that we completely forget about the other 3 years.
I know! I've watched the relay 3 times today! I wanna scream each time. But I usually end up hitting my fists together because I'm so excited but can't scream b/c people are sleeping, or I'm at work.
I watched SO much of the olympics. I even saw the team bike-riding thingy (I have no idea how that works), rhythm gymnastics, and synchronized swimming.
